Leadership is doing the
right things better for
the team or a group, but of
course with the approval of the teammates, usually every leader has a vision,
mission and goals for a certain time to
achieve a certain task, it will
take you the right path, sets priorities, these things will
tell you if you have achieved what you are expecting. Leaders are
always one step ahead, on how they will shape the institution, innovate successfully and
observe competitors on how they operate. An effective leader is picturing the
vision, mission and goal on what it looks like to the group it being led.
Every leader has
a team and a leader must know when to motivate and
inspire the team, they're two
good things that can motivate a team, a good result of team effort and a reward or
incentives, these factors can trigger the team to strive hard. There are two
powers for a leader that they possess first is expert power, the team will automatically admire
them because they know that their leader is an expert in what he do, they are
credible to tell their team to listen and follow their instructions, second is source power, a leader that
has a natural charisma and uses the power of giving bonuses to the assigned
person, nonetheless there are few leaders that use this
kind of privilege in order just to inspire the team.
It is in the leader's responsibility of designating
the task to his/her subordinates, understanding of the roles of each member
boost the efficiency of the team. This enables the different ideas of the
members that they can suggest because they are more hands-on on the task given.
You’ll see the productivity of the team; if you can identify the strength and
weaknesses of the members you can align them on a task where they are good at. Team leaders
must engage in a brainstorm for once in a while, this can be effective for
innovation and strategies of the team and a team leader should
appreciate the completion of the task assign on the members to boost their
morale. To attain this is by admiring him/her in front
of other members or simply by giving any recognition will do.
Yes, there will be problems
that may occur even though the task is delegated perfectly, but this
can be lessened through
conducting routine meetings, updated reports of the task that they're assigned
and discouraging the team on competition on her teammates.
