Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

Course Objective

If you like being in charge, manage and getting things done, Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management will equip you with the appropriate leadership and management skills that are prepared to help you stand-out from the rest. Leadership and managerial roles offer a lot of opportunities to make a difference. It will need a set of critical and essential attributes, all of these will be thought to you during the program. Our expert instructor with their innovative industry knowledge will bring you with nurturing support throughout the program, hands-on course. They are using subjective and communication skill to recognize and evaluate information from accredited sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and innovative skills to show ideas and respond to complicated situations.

Course duration

·         2 x 7-hour face to face classes per week over 78 weeks (9.00am to 4:00 pm) In this part of the program learners are required to attend instruction as part of their learning process
·         Required mandatory hours of Self-study/ independent learning/ research and reflection hours per week, where learners are required to reflect and carry on further study, 6 hours are mandatory for international learners (Please see delivery and assessment). A trainer is present during such sessions.

Course Requirement

·         Be 18 years and above;
·         Have satisfactorily completed a minimum of year 12 or equivalent (this may be international);
·         To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, learners would need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake • study at Diploma level; this can be demonstrated via the following:
·         Successful completion of Year 12 or the equivalent level of study or mature aged entry (if applicable
·         Minimum English level of IELTS 5.5, learners originating from student visa assessment levels 1 and 2 without the required IELTS score can undertake KIA’s English Proficiency Test. For information on student visa assessment levels, refer to Department of Immigration and Border Protection website (www.border.gov.au)

Numeracy and Literacy

All learners are required to complete a Language, Literacy and numeracy test in order to ascertain and acceptance into the program. Where a learner is not completing the test at the required, support will be offered to them. This assistance is determined at a case-by-case measure.

Learners must have a demonstrated capacity in competencies as required by the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), to undertake this course. This will be ascertained through the LLN Assessment they complete their application form.

It is recommended that participants must have the following levels:

·         Learning: level 6
·         Reading: Level 6
·         Writing: Level 5
·         Oral communication: Level 5
·         Numeracy: Level 4

Credit transfer and RPL

Based on your existing skills, knowledge, and experience you could be granted full or part qualification. Find out if you're a candidate for RPL.
